AVA Forex Brokers

AVA Forex (AVAFX) is a brokerage firm incorporated in the Republic of Ireland and regulated by the Irish Financial Regulator. Dealing with the company gives the trader a reasonable degree of confidence as the firm is compliant with the investment regulations of the EU. Even more telling about the stability and reliability of this broker is the admirable number of brokerage awards it has won recently. In 2010 alone, for example, the company has received five awards: Best Islamic Forex Provider, Most Transparent Broker, Best Forex Broker Canada, Best Forex Broker Middle East and Best Forex Broker BVI. The management team of eight is listed on site with a short bio of each and security of funds and trades is especially noted.

In addition to forex trading AVAFX also trades commodities and CFDs. The company uses the universally popular MetaTrader4 trading platform as well as its own AvaTrader platform, easy to use software that provides real-time info via multiple worksheets. By displaying relevant trade info on the same window, AvaTrader enables the trader to make split second decisions which are critical in forex trading. AvaTrader is available as a download.

Accounts types
AVAFX traders are allowed a twenty-one day period of free trading via the demo account which comes loaded with $100000 practice money. After these, traders wishing to continue have to set up live accounts. The company has four types of live accounts, Silver, Gold, Platinum and VIP. The minimum deposit for the Silver Account is $300 while the Gold Account has a minimum deposit of $100. Minimum deposits for the Platinum and VIP Accounts are $10000 and $50000 respectively. Varying bonuses are offered to traders making initial deposits. Traders have a variety of deposit and withdrawal options including Credit Cards, PayPal, WebMoney and Western Union.

Trader training and support
AVAFX traders benefit from a vast resource pool which includes an Education Center which teaches them how to trade in the forex market. The education covers an introduction to forex and also shows the trader the tools to use for technical analysis. Detailed technical training is offered to registered members only while daily and weekly reviews of the markets are offered by the company's chief analyst. Like most respected forex brokers, the company also offers traders a global economic calendar which contains information on forex, financial and economic issues likely to influence forex trading around the world.

Customer support is available on a 24 hour basis via live chat and telephone (also allows customers to request for a callback) in over 30 languages including English, French, Spanish and Turkish among others.

All the major currency pairs are traded at AVAFX but the spreads, when compared to most other brokers, tend to be rather high. For the EUR/USD pair, for example, the typical spread will be 3 pips while the USD/CAD spread goes up to 5 pips.

In addition to MetaTrader4 and AvaTrader, the company also allows customers to carry out trades using mobile devices by use of AVA Mobile Trader.

Islamic forex
Modeled on it other live accounts, the company has four Islamic accounts whose minimum deposits and welcome bonuses are identical to regular accounts with the exception that these accounts comply with Shariah requirements on the paying and earning of interest.
